Each piece is conceived as a true collaboration, balancing imagination with precision to create jewellery that feels effortless, elevated and entirely your own.

From sculptural engagement rings to statement pieces commissioned for milestone moments or simply “just because”, every design is rooted in intention. Feminine clean lines, exceptional stones and considered detail come together to form modern heirlooms that feel both timeless and of the moment.

These are pieces designed to be lived in and loved for a lifetime, crafted with integrity, defined by detail, and created to tell your story in a way that feels authentic, sophisticated and unmistakably yours.

Commissioning a piece of jewellery is a shared creative journey. Whether you are visiting me in person in Devon/London or joining us for a virtual appointment here or abroad, the process is designed to be seamless, transparent and deeply personal.

See below for the bespoke stories & guide to the bespoke steps.

The Bespoke Journey

  • Collage featuring a woman in a cream Zimmerman dress, an abstract white paper art piece, a purple violet Tanzanite gemstone, a modern architecture with palm trees, decorative black and white patterns, and text indicating various design elements like Ric Rac Mood Board, Paper Artist Richard Sweeney, and Ric Rac Ribbon.

    Step 1

    IMAGINING YOUR DESIGN

Every piece begins with a conversation.

During your initial consultation, we’ll explore your inspiration, the sentiment behind the commission, and any aesthetic ideas you may have. Whether you come with a clear vision or a blank page, Jodie will guide you with expert insight, ensuring the design feels both personal and beautifully considered.

Inspiration can be shared at any time — as soon as ideas are sent through, the creative process begins, often even before we meet.

Following the consultation, Jodie will spend time brainstorming and refining concepts to ensure we’re creatively aligned. This stage typically takes around two weeks, depending on the complexity of the project. Mood boards and initial sketches are then presented for your approval before moving forward.

    Step 2

    REFINING DESIGN & STONE SELECTION

Jodie begins by translating the nuances of your story into a series of hand-drawn sketches and refined silhouettes, shaping the vision of your piece. This is where the design truly starts to take form, with every detail considered and refined to reflect your story and style.

Alongside the design, she curates a selection of ethically recovered diamonds and unique gemstones through trusted gemologists, personally reviewing each stone’s character, history, and quality to ensure it aligns perfectly with your vision. This careful process allows you to choose the ideal cut and colour for your piece.

Once a design and stone are confirmed, a 50% deposit secures the materials and allows the process to move forward.

    Step 3

    CRAFTING YOUR MASTER PIECE

This is where your story takes physical form. A CAD model is created and 3D printed, allowing you to see and try on the design before the Goldsmiths at Hatton Garden and Fellows IPG begin crafting your bespoke treasure.

Each piece is meticulously handcrafted in solid gold or platinum using a combination of the latest technology and traditional bench skills. All designs are crafted in recycled gold as standard, with the option of Fairtrade gold upon request — ensuring your heirloom is as responsible as it is beautiful.

The making process typically takes 8 to 16 weeks, during which you’ll receive updates as your piece evolves from raw metal on the bench into a finished work of art.

  • The revel - pop the question

    Step 4

    TADA! THE REVEAL!

Once your piece has received its final hand-polish and official hallmark, it is ready for the reveal. You can collect your heirloom from our Devon or London studio, or have it delivered via secure, fully insured shipping.

The result is a piece of “quiet luxury” technically flawless and imbued with a meaning only you and the wearer truly know.

Each piece comes with our Bespoke Promise, offering care and attention to ensure your creation continues to shine beautifully for years to come.
