For this reason, we offer three distinct types of diamonds: Ocean diamonds, natural and laboratory-grown. Each possesses the same fundamental beauty and brilliance, yet each follows a very different journey before reaching the final piece of jewellery.
Ocean Diamonds are wild, rare and brilliantly compelling, each carrying the timeless spirit of the ocean.
Billions of years in the making, they are handpicked by specialist divers along the West Coast of Southern Africa, settling in secluded gullies beneath the seabed. The company ensures full traceability from seabed to customer, meeting the highest standards of ethical luxury and responsible sourcing.
Each diamond comes with a Certificate of Provenance, detailing its Country of Origin and Coastal Location, accompanied by an embossed map of Namibia and South Africa and signed by founder Robert Goodden.

Natural diamonds
Formed deep within the earth over billions of years, shaped by extraordinary geological forces and brought to the surface through nature’s processes and artisan mining. Their story is one of time, rarity and the remarkable history of our planet.
Laboratory-grown diamonds
Created using advanced technology that replicates the natural conditions under which diamonds form. Chemically and structurally identical to natural diamonds, they represent a modern approach to diamond creation and offer an alternative path to the same brilliance.
GIA
All natural and lab-grown diamonds 0.50ct and over are laser-inscribed with a unique Gemological Institute of America (GIA) serial number. Invisible to the naked eye, this discreet signature ensures each stone’s origin can be traced while preserving its exceptional beauty. The number corresponds with the GIA certificate supplied with every diamond.
