Bespoke 1ct Natural Diamond Engagement Ring in 18ct Gold & Platinum Spectacle Setting.

Perry and Hannah were just not finding that perfect ring, so Perry found me! Still wanting to do the surprise proposal Perry decided to pop the question with a Diamond. 

I curated a selection of 1ct Diamonds for Perry to choose from within budget all sourced from my trusted gemologist. It’s a really lovely moment choosing ‘The Diamond’ and being able to take as much time as you need. It’s so important because every diamond has its own character and sparkle.

Perry took his time and fell in love with a round brilliant natural diamond.

Hannah loved this Antique Ring especially the fine bezel setting, elegant band and the use of white & yellow Gold together. She is a busy lady and always on the go, so the Bezel setting was perfect to keep the diamond safe.

Perry was inspired by the timeless 4 claw engagement ring to maximising light around the Diamond for that extra sparkle.

After brainstorming with them I felt the design should be elegant but strong like them. I was drawn to Brutalist Architecture for Ring structure to reflect this vision. We then together combined these design ideas in a sketchbook and the ring was imagined with their wishes at its heart.

The elegant and simplicity of this design meant it had to be completely forged by hand from one rod of gold. As the gold is worked and shaped it strengthens meaning we could keep parts of the ring design open and elegant.

Perry collected the ring in secret for a second proposal in London.
