Bespoke FAQ
-
Every bespoke engagement ring is entirely unique, so its price can vary depending on your choices. Factors such as the type of gemstone, metal, and overall weight all influence the cost. Gold and platinum prices fluctuate, and the heavier or more intricate a piece, the higher the investment.
At JCJ Bespoke, our engagement rings typically range from £3,000 to £5,000 to £10,000, depending on your vision and budget. This range allows us to create a piece that is perfectly tailored to you — a ring as individual and exceptional as the story it celebrates.
-
When creating a JCJ heirloom, the process becomes entirely about you.
I am here to guide every step, bringing your ideas to life and marking life’s most meaningful celebrations with a piece of modern, timeless elegance.
The journey is collaborative, honest, and transparent. From initial inspiration to the final unveiling, each stage is crafted with care, ensuring your bespoke jewellery is as unique and exceptional as the story it represents.

You may provide an estimated size, or the size of a ring they already wear.
JCJ Bespoke will guide the creation of your piece to ensure it is exquisitely tailored.
Every ring includes a complimentary first-year resizing, allowing the gift to fit perfectly once it reaches its recipient.
For discreet guidance, please see our Ring Size Guide to measure inside diameter of a ring accurately.

Every JCJ heirloom is meticulously crafted to the highest standards and comes with a bespoke warranty. In the unlikely event of a construction fault within the specified period, we will repair your piece promptly and at no cost. Proof of purchase is required.

Gold or platinum items priced over £2,000: two years.
Gold or platinum items priced under £2,000: one year.
Items presented for repair beyond these periods may incur a jeweller’s fee.
What We Cover
Manufacturing faults include broken necklace clasps and earring fittings, whether hoop or post.
What is Not Covered
General wear and tear or customer damage is not included. This encompasses jewellery that has naturally lost its lustre, claws that have worn and weakened, rings bent from impact, chipped or cracked gemstones or pearls, and broken chains.
Your JCJ piece is designed to endure, and this warranty reflects our commitment to craftsmanship, care, and lasting brilliance.

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide insurance valuations directly.
For professional appraisals, we recommend the Michael Inkpen FGA Ltd a Jewellery Valuation Service, a trusted local company based in Exeter.
Valuations typically range from £50 to £200 per item, depending on the complexity of the piece.
This ensures your heirloom is properly assessed and ready for insurance, giving you peace of mind and confidence in its protection.

“Made to Order” refers to our approach of creating jewellery that is ready to order from my curated collection ‘Aphrodite'. Each design has been carefully crafted for timeless elegance, but you can select your preferred metals, gemstones, and subtle details, making each piece uniquely yours.
The creation of a Made to Order piece typically takes 8–12 weeks, allowing our artisans to craft each item with meticulous care and attention to detail.
This process ensures you enjoy the beauty and confidence of a refined, proven design while expressing your own individuality. Every Made to Order piece reflects both JCJ craftsmanship and your personal style.
