Venus Engagement Ring …

I’ve alway been captivated by Sandro Botticelli, The Birth of Venus (c. 1484–1486) depicting the birth of Venus rising from the sea in a giant scallop shell. The painting embodies the seeds of my design inspiration. I’ve been collecting shells for as long as i can remember. It’s mythical qualities i feel are mirrored by finding shells on the shore. My Husband and I have always enjoyed traveling to italy and Florence is next on the list.
